Genie® Model 205HP

Preserve the integrity of your sample and prevent damage to your analyzer system with a Genie® Membrane Separator. The Genie® Model 205 will remove 100% of the water, caustic, and other immiscible liquids suspended in your hydrocarbon sample. This model also removes absorbed gases, gas bubbles, and volatile organic carbon (VOC) compounds from water samples.  The Genie® Supreme Series 200 models are also available, offering an improved housing design for easy maintenance.

The Genie® Model 205HP also prevents potential harm to a wide range of analyzer applications such as Reid Vapor Pressure, freeze point, pour point, cloud point, octane, and other analyzers with relatively small flow requirements. This model has the same design as the Genie® Model 205, but it can accommodate a higher operating pressure.

This model is comparable to the Genie® Supreme Model 225, which includes all of the features of the Genie® Model 205HP plus an improved housing design for easy membrane replacement, the new Liquid Block Technology™ for preventing liquids from being forced across the membrane during upset conditions, and a built-in membrane retention plate to protect the membrane against damage caused by reverse flow.

Your specific application may also benefit from our specially designed G.U.T.S.™ Teflon® gasket installed in a Genie® Model 205HP. Note: when using a G.U.T.S.™ in a Genie® Model 205HP, the pressure rating is reduced to 500psig.
