If you are tired of your sample system experiencing large differences in composition for the same gas at different sample points or different times with the same on-line gas chromatograph, especially if the normalization factor is also erratic, your wish is our command with the Genie® Probe and Probe Regulator Series. The Genie® Model GPHV is economically designed to remove 100% of entrained liquid and particulate from a gas sample directly from pipeline conditions, which prevents changes in gas composition due to temperature and pressure differences.
This model will also protect sample gas analyzers such as composite samplers, spot samplers, or on-line and portable analyzers where metering runs can be occasionally depressurized. The GPHV™ is designed as a high pressure version of the GP1. It is machined from a single piece of stainless steel, which gives it a high natural resonant frequency suitable for gasses flowing at high velocities. The 4” probe is suitable for pipeline gas velocities in excess of 100 ft/s, and the 10” probe is suitable for pipeline gas velocities up to 60 ft/s.
